Medescape arranges treatment and travel to Tbilisi, Georgia. To do that we need a few details about you. This page says what we collect, why, who sees it and how long we keep it, in plain words.
What we collect
- What you type into our form or send us on WhatsApp or email: your name, phone number, email address, the treatment you are interested in, your country and currency, travel dates and anything you write to us.
- Photos and documents you choose to send, such as photos of your teeth or hair, X-rays or earlier medical reports. These are health data. Send them only if you want to; a quote is possible without them.
- Technical details when you use the website: your approximate country (from your IP address, to show prices in your currency), the page you came from and your browser type.
Why we use it
- To prepare your written offer and answer your questions.
- To ask a licensed clinic in Georgia for a treatment plan and price. We share only what the clinic needs for that, and only after you have asked us for a quote.
- To book your hotel, transfers, flights and tours once you confirm.
- To contact you on WhatsApp, by phone or by email about your request. We do not send newsletters or marketing messages unless you ask for them.
Who sees it
- Our staff, through a password-protected system.
- The clinic and doctor we propose for you, so they can assess your case and give a price.
- Hotels, drivers and airlines receive your name and travel details when we book for you.
- Service providers that run our website and messaging: Netlify (hosting and form storage, servers in the United States and Europe) and Meta (WhatsApp Business). Google Flights data is used to show typical airfares; no personal data is sent for that.
We never sell your details or share them with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months. Booking records are kept for as long as the law in Georgia requires for accounting, then deleted. Photos and medical documents are deleted as soon as your treatment is finished, or earlier if you ask.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to hello@medescape.ge or message us on WhatsApp. Deleting your details does not affect any treatment or booking you have already paid for, but we will remove everything we are not legally required to keep.
Cookies
The website uses no advertising cookies. Your browser remembers your chosen currency and calculator settings on your own device. Our staff system uses a sign-in cookie for staff only.
Who is responsible
Medescape, Tbilisi, Georgia. Contact: hello@medescape.ge. Treatment itself is provided by independent licensed clinics, which are responsible for their own medical records.
